1 piece CNC manufactured aluminum brake liquid lid for buell models listed above. The lid is all around fast, sanded, black anodized and engraved with graphics or.dem lettering according to the selection below.<\/p>\n
The lid was milled on a high-speed machining centre from a full 6mm aluminium plate. Afterwards it was lowered, overturned and provided from the front with a decorative 45\u00b0 chamfer. On the back, it has a 1.5 mm wide vent, which prevents a vacuum in the braking system. He was then sanded and anodized. This gives the lid this beautiful silk-matt shine through which the subsequent engraving with the silver strokes comes to the fore.<\/p>\n
Included are 2 VA vertical head fastening screws. These are installed instead of the 2 original screws.<\/p>\n
Thus, the original, unsightly brake-flying container -lid is exchanged with 2 handles for the noble part. As with other suppliers, it is not just a cover, but the whole lid is replaced.<\/p>\n
It is a very decorative, flawless, solid and absolutely tailor-made quality part which rightly bears the title “Made in Germany”.<\/p>\n
The assembly is easy:<\/p>\n
Remove the two fastening screws of the old lid
\nRemove the sealing membrane from the old lid and insert it into the new lid
\ntighten with the enclosed screws<\/p>\n
If, contrary to expectations, some brake fluid should leak, please wipe it immediately<\/p>\n
